A rather petulant follow up imho which doesn't deserve a response.

This whole row has been whipped up by an internet forum that specialises in making mountains out of molehills. We've got a great new stadium, every seat a good view, all of them affordably priced and all existing season ticket holders are guaranteed to get one. As an added bonus groups of friends or families are now also able to take up their seats in the new stadium together rather than being spread out all over the place.

If matey boy is so upset by this outrageous injustice maybe he should boycott the Amex and leave room for someone without a great big chip on their shoulder to enjoy our wondrous new surroundings.

I guess it wouldn't be appropriate but I'd rather Insider said something like that instead of the usual 'I will pass on your comments' which one suspects never actually get passed on.

TBH the club wanted ATC to be created to be able to monitor and quench damaging rumours on the main board so they should take the rough with the smooth.

He does sound like someone who was born with a silver spoon in his gob and a bit spoilt to say the least, he has always had the most expensive seats (lucky little boy).
Did the club not reward his Gillingham ticket with his first pick at Withdean as promised.
And now he wants special treatment and allowed to book on line on the first day of ticket sales.
I do feel a little sorry for the poor little rich boy.

I must add I had season tickets at Gillingham and wanted a season ticket in the North stand like him, but these were all sold out when my application was made.

Can i just say, that i think your post is a little rude.
I am in no way as you say "a poor little rich boy" but a dedicated supporter.

With regard to first pickings at the withdean, if you can K block (the last block of the top whack price) first pickings then i think your wrong.
as someone who was (in my opinion) miss treated before and for it to happen again, i am obviously a little annoyed.

What is it the makes you believe that you are any more of a supporter than EVERYONE else, and therfore YOU should be at the front of the queue?

I don't believe anything makes me "more" of a fan.
what i believe is that priority should be continuous years on your ticket and pricing band for tickets.

rather than ignoring any years before withdean, and working on seat blocks.

I'm not saying that i'm the more important i'm saying that ALL fans should be treated fairly.

No, you were saying you believed you should be at the presentation on 10th January.

Taking on board your own regimented value system, how do you know that there were not more deserving cases than yours?

I personally know people who have a date ahead of me and have been a season ticket holder for less time.
but are ahead of me in the queue because they sit in a block closer to the half way line (according to the club)

Problem solved, get them to buy your Season Ticket as one of their +3

That would be a brilliant plan if as a family (not household) we didn't have 5 tickets all sitting together.

Anyway, my aim was not to have a rant, but to find out why the promises have not been followed through any why the order of tickets is based on the block rather than price band.

Quite apparently from my original question the club missed this, hence why i wrote the follow up (now removed).

I don't want to seem like a spoilt child as i'm in no way that, i wanted to try and get my point across in a way that may get an answer, contacting the club directly has not been successful.

If you wrote to them in the tone you wrote on here, I'm not surprised.

Anyway, what is this about 'price band'? The entire South Stand Centre pays the same price. There has to be a way of getting people into the presentation at different times.
