I currently have on a pair of black Doc Martin 8-ups. I have only ever owned 2 pairs since i started wearing them almost 13 years ago now.

Having said that, i will be getting a new pair soon.

In my younger days i did fancy the Cherry Red ones.

Way out west
Doc Martens in tan, drainpipes, beige harrington, ben sherman shirts, but all worn at completely different times from the age of 13 up to about 21. Odd really as I have never really considered myself fashion conscious, mind you, owning up to that lot probably proves it!

Maybe a touch of seersucker with an open neck
I drive a GS scooter with my hair cut neat
I wear my war-time coat in the wind and sleet

-----

Black DMs
Ben Sherman shirts (got a black one on now - button down)
Olive bomber jacket
Fred Perrys - just about every colour
Oh, and braces...

Never had a Harrington Jacket :(
Nor a crombie

Wish I could carry it off, but I know I can't - I really would love to get decked out in a shirt, suit and crombie from Jump The Gun, Gardner Street.

All of the above bar the flight jacket.

Blue/green tonic suit, crombie with hankie and pocket stud, brutus shirts, royals and loafers with blakies on the heels, jumpers for goal posts.

None of the above. I bet you all had a copy of Skinhead Moonstomp and Double Barrel too!

Leather jacket, jeans and T shirt did me as I roared round on my 650 Triumph!

Snap! Although, I have always had Martens, as a bike boot.

A 1970, 650 T120 will still trash any scooter, anytime.

Wore black 10 hole DM's for years and now wearing 8 hole black DM's.Sta press trousers for school
Still wear black and tan harrington style jackets and still have a crombie. I guess it was the first fashion I got into but only for a year or so cos then I got into punk, but I seem to have returned to it lately.
There's a good book by Robert Elms all about the various fashions he wore but with a big emphisis on the skinhead stuff.

I had Black Doc's at school, I think they were only ten hole ones though, couldn't face the task of undoing/redoing the laces on the ones that went half way up the legs.

I never had any of that stuff at the time and I am old enough to clearly remember skinheads and suedeheads.
