A 1970, 650 T120 will still trash any scooter, anytime.

Oh yes, I never could see the appeal of Lambretta snot pumps.

I remember getting the train from Eastbourne to Brighton when i was anout 14 to purchase a Ben Sherman shirt in Brighton as there was nowhere in Eastbourne that sold them. My Dad gave me his old Civil Defence black steel toed boots which were the envy of all my friends and put Doc martins in the shade!

I had a 2-tone suit once, it was wicked, always pulled when i wore that.

wore my gold and blue two tone suit to work and got promptly sent home !! still wear a Ben Sherman to work on a regular basis..they are trendy again or so I'm told
Also loved an old donkey jacket that lasted for years

None of the above. I bet you all had a copy of Skinhead Moonstomp and Double Barrel too!

Leather jacket, jeans and T shirt did me as I roared round on my 650 Triumph!

Dave and Ansil Collins was my very first 'full price' single (the previous were all 2nd hand from collector shops), I recently snagged another copy. "I AM double-u 000".

Some might say "he's a REAL TASTY GEEZER", better not be messin' with a big Monkey Man, and don't call me scarface or Long-Shot kick-e-bucket!

Did you nut 'im?

nah . . .he was still biger than me.

Fleeced him for some money and went to the Cavern for replacements !

Franks Wild years . . . . sold most of them, still got a TV175 Series two in sky blue, mint restored and an LI125 S2 in original condition ( and yes, a few MK1's as well )

I've ridden a bonny 650 T120 and over 80 the bloody things vibrate so much your eyes go wobbly. I've also been clocked on a TV200 Lambretta at over a ton. frightening when I think about it now !!!

That's half the fun. I would have loved to see the TV200 fly though!

I wound my 750 'bike up to 138 once on an empty freeway - even the widest bends seemed to come up surprisingly fast, and the faintest lower areas of a seemingly flat road turned into fierce dips. 'Had to keep my lips tight or else my cheeks would blow out like Dizzy Gillespie.
It was quite uncomfortable when I think back - and an exceedingly dangerous thing to do on a public roadway.

Sydney .
Harrington Jackets
Fred Perrys
Ben Shermans
Tonics
Sta-Press
Brutus Shirts
Doc Martens
Loafers
Braces

And not forgetting the accessory of the day ; an obligatory ,
" steel comb " .

I still have in a cupboard under the stairs , a pair of almost
30 years old 10-eyelet "Blackburn" Doc Martens that migrated
with me to Australia over 23 years ago .
On many occasions they have been taken amongst the other
old clothing to various charity shops only to return back home in
defiance .
They'll probally be buried or burnt with me .
