That is truley shocking stuff Rougvie, and I'm glad to see you are following it up with the club. I think you are entitled to a full written apology from QPR, confirmation in writing that you are NOT banned from Loftus Road, as well as compensation for the price of your ticket, your travel, and a sum of money as a gesture of goodwill from the club after your disgusting mistreatment at the hands of an over-zealous and misguided steward.

Don't let it drop eh. You had your day completely ruined through no fault of your own, and someone has to be held accountable for that.

Maybe you should write to QPR and say that unless you receive a complete apology you will take legal action for deformation ? There must be some avenues that you can persue,

Deformation... did they beat you up and re-shape you somehow ?
as far as 'defamation' goes - you have to be of 'good character' in the first place for that to work
