Ooh yes. I was trying to think of the 'William Tell'.

It is sad that the tradition of interesting pub names has been tampered with by these naff pub chains. I lament the loss of the Dog Tray in Edward ST; bad pub tho it was.

As I'm moaning it would be an idea to name a pub after the queen of complainers: Angela Rowland.

IMO those name changes are improvements.

Can't remember what it was originally called. It became The Sun or something like that for a while, and I'm sure it's changed again.
