Hard to say. Probably Labour, but depends who else is on the ballot sheet. It's easier to say who I would NOT vote for, and that is LibDem (or more specifically Norman Baker) or Tory. I have no direct evidence for this, but I believe that if it were not for Norman Baker and his anti-Falmer stance, the LibDems may well have been in a close three-way scrap for taking Hove, and maybe even had a chance of taking one or two other Sussex constituencies.

If people really wanted Baker out, and really voted with their political conscience, why should the Labour person not get in? Or have people made an automatic assumption the political landscape in Lewes is so non-Labour that to vote for them would be a wasted vote?
