I was thinking about this yesterday and whether I was paranoid or not, and I remembered that Cotterill left Notts Co a while back but still hasnt officially signed for Pompey yet. These things take a while.

Didn't take Slade very long to sign a 2 year deal after keeping us up.

Sounds like people are playing this down when in fact i think this whole contract saga is now a joke. Why bother giving Poyet cash to spend if he is still stalling?
It was only last week he said he was only days away and not to worry.Well it's going to be another week at least as he has just gone on holiday.
Gus also said he reckons players in England have to much holiday time compared to other countries. That's funny Gus as you have just done two weeks in south America and now doing another week.
I'm not sure if i trust him you know and i wonder if Bloom feels the same?

I don't think 2 weeks scouting with Tanno can be counted as going on holiday.....

Let us face it, we will have another season of being lied to and our "promotion" push will not come for several seasons yet.

People are playing oit down because he's still got a year left on his current contract.

There are some great casinos in Malta. Hopefully Tony can win enough for some extra players.

In fact, there is a casino where this meeting is taking place. Let's face it, who of the 72 will take Bloom on? The idea of him winning thousands off rival chairmen to boost our promotion coffers is certainly one that appeals.

Albion have requested an away game to start the new season due to Pride

This annoys me.

The poofters should either A) f*** off and hold it somewhere else or B) wait till the fixtures come out and then arrange their "party in the park" when the Albion are playing away and NOT the other way around.:angry::angry:

Wembley's a neutral venue too!

Ahhhhhh, now I get it. I was thinking CARBON NEUTRAL: & that the great & the good (that care for our beloved clubs) were all gonna walk to Malta en masse. :dunce:

I'd agree with B, am I right in thinking Pride has stopped us having the 1st game of the season at home for quite a few seasons, and will we still have the same problem when Falmer opens?

Yes. Yes we have and yes we will.

Cue BLEATING from the LOSS MAKING organisers that they need time to prepare such an event and couldnt do it at short notice.

Ignoring the offensive language (about which complaints have been made) ... I think it's possibly relevant that Pride attracts far more people to Brighton than the Albion have ever done.

Not being local anymore (although still atending games!), when did Pride happen last year? We played our 1st game at home last season.
