Harty said:Captain I'm not to keen on you after some of your posts but you can come the phone-in anytime. For the record as regards Mr lloyd and myself time is a great healer, I can never regret anything I wrote or said during the Gulls Eye years but having interviewed Barry for an SCR 1 hour special there were some things that never came out about him during his time.
Jim D said:Although Lloyd is OK as a person (he still smokes too much though), I could'nt like him as a manager of The Albion because....
He took over when Chris Catlin was forced out - a black day in the history of the Club.
He played favourites and held grudges (often for a very long time) against some of the players - read Garry Nelson's book. By refusing to play Nelson at Wembley he did the club a great disservice.
He sold Dean Saunders for £60K and without a sell-on clause . What's more, he thought that Tiltman was a better player!
He held the fans in contempt, and was extremely uncommunicative. Although this may have been in response to the 'Lloyd out' campaign, he still made little or no effort to patch things up.
Don Tmatter said:Those of us who watched the Albion under Lloyd, will remember him as dour and miserable, hardly great qualities for a phone in guest.
However, can someone ask him, why he persisted in playing crap like Crumplin, Cooper and Tiltman over some of the more talented (i.e. could actually pass the ball) players we had at the time.

£100,000 for Mark Farrington. Please explain.
