Several commentators have said that we're good but a little bit too nice. So another positive is that our own Mr Nasty is only weeks away from returning.

Set pieces aside White - Dunk - Webster has to be the back 3 going forward.


But set pieces and crosses are our weakness and game after game nothing changes and the opposition keep taking advantage. So something isn't working with these three. Replays regularly show all three of them looking at each other with puzzled expressions. It is either tactics/formation, loss of concentration or simply that they haven't developed an understanding between themselves.

He picks the ball up, dawdles, we know he's going to then switch direction slightly and accelerate past their attackers - they know what he's going to do. Yet he still manages to do it, almost every time. Impressive.

Dunno what 'it' is, but in actual play, they all look lovely.

I was purring about Dunk 'being back' (until he wasn't)
While West Ham were hardly in our penalty area all game.
Yet both Webster and White still looked great going forward.


If only we could rotate Duffy in and out of the same game.

If that is a positive, hate to think what your negative is.

Got to be a positive to have another striker in the side, we did finish the game without one on the pitch.

I thought we played at least as well as our opponents and deserved something from the game, on another day we’d have nicked the win. Hopefully Lallana’s substitution was a precaution, but other than that I don’t think we picked up any injuries.

With a bit of luck Lamptey will be alright for Arsenal which will give us a little more balance.

I was annoyed at being pegged back twice, but I think we are in good shape for our next game.

Fair enough. I'm being more optimistic than you. Yes, it looks difficult, but one win could turn things and IF we can get a striker in during January I certainly have not given up hope.
