Pop questions for quiz

I'm putting together a quiz for Mrs Gwylan and have done all the rounds except the pop music one. She's told me not to ask questions about 60s, 70s or 80s music as the participants will be in their 20s and not know the answers.

I know very little about modern beat combos. Anyone got some ideas for questions to ask?

I only want five or six but I've stretched my limited knowledge already.

(and the people doing it aren't music freaks so no obscure questions about Scandinavian trance)
