ermmmm...... not exactly ancient history - ugly shirts with long collars, medium long-hair styles, crap cars, and throw in a couple of glam chart-toppers.

Scripts with supposedly whipsmart and off-the-cuff humour, acerbic asides, and shades of irony - that's what I watched and heard. I missed the deliberate tongue-in-cheek aspect altogether.
