Player Ratings vs Swansea

Henderson - 6 - Good first half, almost blew it in the second with his dropped catch!
Whing - 7 - always a good attacking outlet, and strong defensively as well
Lynch 7 - some brave tackling, maybe out of place for second goal?
Hinsh 7 - looked calm and sorted any troubles. Neither centre half could do much about header
Rents - 9 - SUPERB. Fantastic delivery from the left creating the second goal (and possibly third, or was that a Mayo corner?). Anyway, he looked brave, has a bit of skill on him and a fantastic range of passes. Encouraging!
Cox - 8 - Wouldn't have argued if he'd been given MoM, because his goal was incredible!
Hammond - 7 - worked hard, some good passing and a battling display
Mayo - 7 - Didn't look out of place in the middle, winning a fair few 50/50's
Fraser - 6 - a decent performance - again, didn't create a lot, but worked particularly hard. Not convinced he's a winger though
Revell - 8 - Other than his hard work, he didn't actually do much except than score! Two good finishes
Robinson - 6 - looked lively, unlucky not to score after a superb save, but other than that didn't get much of a look in.

Lynch 7. Would have been an eight except for fiddling around with the ball near the corner flag instead of putting it out of play which led directly to their second goal.

Rents 8. He's good.

Fraser 7. Probably his best game on the right, but looked more at home in the middle on Sat.

Mayo 7. Didn't do a lot wrong.

Cox 8. Great goal and some excellent passes, but one or two went astray.

Revell 9. Non-stop running and two good goals. He's a great find.

Robinson 8. Deserved a goal. Good game.

Three redheads playing on the right today ... Whing at RB, Fraser at RM and Kerry on the right of central midfield. That must be a first!!

First 35 mins as good as I've seen Albion play for a very long time. Should have killed the game with another goal. Lapses at the end against ten men were worrying. First Lynch's error for their second goal and then Henderson dropping the cross from which they should have equalised. Could easily have ended 3-3.

Would have liked to see John brought on.

Breaking up moves, starting attacks, getting stuck in, spraying passes around. Just beaten to MOM by Revell for me. Great to see him back in form though.

Agreed, possibly Hammond's best ever game for the Albion, can't split him and Revell for MOTM.

Lynch 7 - didnt really look to troubled
Hinsh 8 - always quick to react
Rents 8 - will get better an better, great dead ball delivery
Cox 8 - great goal and range of passing but not given the ball enough.
Hammond 9 - MOM,every were and pulled the strings
Mayo 7- looked a bit out of place in first half but got better
Fraser 7 - def one for the future but stick him in the centre
Revell 9 - great effort and finishing
Robinson 8 - give him an inch & he'll take a mile, deserved a goal

In choosing MoM, it was a choice between Hammond and Revell at half-time, with Rents having a decent game. Revell's two goals swung it for us in the end.
