I think a lot of the time the midfield was far too deep, leaving us two options, to mess about trying little passes in our own final third, or to play it down the line and hope Robinson or Revell would get to it. Neither is ideal but I know which I'd rather our fullbacks do.algie said:

henderson 6- couple of really good saves but could have cost us the game flapping at the cross towards the end.
whing 6- distribution looked rushed tonight, looks dangerous on the overlap.
rents 7- some vital tackles his positioning seems spot on.
hinshlewood 7- mugged for their first goal but apart from that very solid.
lynch 7- improved performance, still looks a little slack
fraser 6- all the effort as usual but he should be put in the middle, painful watching him play out wide when he doesnt look natural out there.
hammond 9- absolute quality, if andy robinson covered every blade of grass (as he usually does) then hammond covered every blade twice.

The no.8 managed to get a further two crosses in, both of which caused us real problems because Hammond didn't close him down. However a vast improvement on last years performances.

Henderson 3 - If this guy was black, dutch and sexy he would be the perfect keeper.
Whing 4 - Bit Ging. And from Coventry.
Hinsh 4 - Never looked the same since that game at Burnley.
Lynch 3 - Not exactly Guy Bottairs is he.
Rents 1/10 - Dependent on what way the wind is blowing. Usual marks for the latest youth team defender to break through.
Cox 8 - MoM.
Hammond 8 - He's not the messiah he's an attacking central midfielder.
Mayo 2/9 - Dependent on whether your gay or straight.
Fraser 3 - Bit ging. And played out of position. But don't tell him whatever you do.
