No-one has mentioned their goal in their assesment of Kuipers. Naylor refers to it as 'a gift from Kuipers'.

Gift from Kuipers? I guess it would be either clogs or a windmill, unless he was in a good mood, in which case some hard core pornography, probably involving some slightly overweight East German girls and a bathful of eels.

Kuipers 5 : At fault for the goal and had a mad moment in the first half when he wrongly came out of his goal. A few dodgy kicks/throws, but a couple of good saves in the second half.

Whing 6 : A few crunching challenges, did his job well. Everything went down the left side in the first half especially, so didn't see much of him going forward.
Elphick 8 : Really, really good.
Butters 8 : Steady and tank-like.
Mayo 5 : Typical mayo really, some good moments, some poor ones.

Cox 6 : Was fairly busy, but didn't do a great deal until we scored. From then on, Luton struggled to deal with him.
Racon 6 : A few misplaced passes in the first half. Didn't play badly, but looked very casual at times.
Thomson 7 : Kept things ticking over in the middle, nearly (and possibly should have) scored.
Westlake 8 : Wasn't helped in the first half by some of Mayo's passes, but showed great energy and drove the team on. Good goal and was the instigator of many of our second half chances. MOM

Dixon 5 : Played a part in the first goal, but generally looked a bit lightweight. Couldn't keep hold of the ball and consequently lost possession.
Murray 8 : Thought he played really well today and lead the line brilliantly, even in the first half when we were a bit shite. Could have easily scored a hat-trick if he didn't try to keep turning the defenders inside out, but the goal he did score was fantastic. A stunning shot right at the end went just wide.

Subs

Loft 5 : Had some promising moments but in reality the final product was always lacking.
Martot 5 : Didn't do much.

Kuipers 7 - Made a great save to keep it at 2-1
Whing 6 - Solid
Butters 6 - A tad slow nowdays, but he has a towering presence in the air
Elphick 8 - Excellent as usual
Mayo 5 - Looked uncomfortable yesterday, especially in the 1st half
Cox 8 - Two goal assists and lots of energy, great stuff!
Racon 6 - Looked more comfortable on the ball, run of the mill stuff for him though.
Thomson 7 - He obviously likes having the captains armband, because he played really well with it!
Westlake 7 - Better from him, good to see after being so quiet in the last two games.
Dixon 6 - I thought he played well on debut, he tracked back and got involved and played the ball well.
Murray 7 - Brilliant header to win the game!

Subs:
Loft 7 : Impressive and unexpected, he looked good yesterday
Martot 5 : Didn't have much to do

DId you know that scientific studies have shown that you can only remember 30% of what happened during the game.

Kuipers 7 - Two superb stops, kicking was a bit poor
Whing 6 - Strong challenges in the first half, was overall solid
Mayo 5 - Went hoof at pretty much every oppotunity, OCCASIONALLY made a good pass.
Elphick 9 - By far the best player on the pitch, magnificent. Threw himself at everything and played his heart out
Butters 7 - Solid as ever, beaten too easily for a header in the first half which could have easily given Luton the lead
Cox 7 - Once again looked very hungry, anonymous first half but came in and ran the midfield in the second
Westlake 6 - Was a bit slow until he scored, looked more interested after
Thomson 6 - Better than previous weeks, still not overly impressive
Racon 6 - Strong challenges, drifted in and out of the game
Murray 7 - Won alot in the air, took his winner well
Dixon 5 - Theres so much you can do with balls straight over the top to you, and unfortunately couldn't make an impact

Loft 7 - Superb when he came on, chased everything and played the 'Alex Revell' role.
Martot 6 - Looked lively when he came on.

Kuipers - 7 - Couldn't really see their goal but did see two cracking saves to keep us in the game.

Whing - 6 - Battled as usual but distribution still poor.
Elphick - 8 - MOM again. Brilliant blocks and won everything in the air.
Butters - 6 - He's really starting to look a bit slow.
Mayo - 6 - Steady enough

Cox - 7 - Good second half.
Thompson - 6 - Battled away. Had a good chance to shoot in the second half but passed instead.
Racon - 6 - Showed some good skill. One of the few players I felt was better in the first half.
Westlake - 7 - Tireless performance. Obviously prefers Richards on the left with him.

Murray - 8 - I thought he had a good game. Rose to the challenge of leading the line without Forster. Good goal and could have scored more. Can only remember him being offside once.
Dixon - 5 - Has a lot to learn.

Subs
Loft - 6 - Not sure he's really cut out to be a forward but gave plenty of effort.
Martot - Not on long enough.

Not so hard to believe Jake, Wes, Tommy, Sam, Joe...whoever you may be! ???

So you are obviously one of the named players then?

Bearing in mind you are supposedly a player...
When you next make a :tosser: smiley at me please bear in mind the fact that I've paid well over £100 to come and watch you lot play this week!

In fairness, I'm pretty certain the wnker sign was aimed at those giving some of the marks, rather than you.

Well that's ok then. And if it was aimed at me I was just making a fair point.

At the same time I don't think players should look on here if they don't like what they read. Whoever the player may be.
