I have already posted this on Ask The Club, but feel so strongly that I hope others will follow suit and complain.
I have a ST in WSL. I have one of the most expensive standard tickets in the stadium. I leave with my wife and son the moment the whistle blows and we exit left from the West Stand to run along the back past the South West corner along the side of the bank under the coach park then into the Mill Road Park & Ride filter. Now for the Palace match, with no explanation, we have to make our way all the way round the stadium to return virtually where we started except we will miss all the buses, be last in the queue, forced to walk past the Palace fanss who, of course, will be on their best behaviour, and get back to the Mill Rd P + R significantly later than usual. Why are your best customers (as we are now known) being given the worst treatment. Frankly it's not good enough and must not set a precedent.

When you state why are your best customers............Shows that you do not understand that NSC is a fans forum.

Because...sigh...the nature of the Amex set up is that we won't be all gone for ages, will we? If by some stroke of fortune we win, there will be thousands of people hanging around the bars afterwards, singing and drinking. Are you suggesting that even Palace fans deserve to be kept inside the ground for an hour and a half or whenever people decide to make their way home?

Besides. If we play like we did last year, you won't have to worry about fighting your way through any sort of crowds on the final whistle.

It's one game, gents, tell your other halves you might be a bit later for once.

Quite. I've written the day off, but in order to avoid trouble* rather than cause it.

*though if I encounter the twat with the drum I reserve the right to try and stuff it up his arse sideways. They won't feel right coming to Brighton until one of them gets something stuffed up their arse anyway.

I think you've missed the point!

No. No I don't think I have.

You're getting annoyed because you usually get out quickly and are first on the buses. For one single game, you won't be, and other Albion fans will be ahead of you.

Have I got that straight?

Or you pasted and copied. You could always protest and run into the Palace on your own. hosting this is my ground and I have a bus to catch.

Would it not make more sense to herd the Palace straight to the station? Therefore counter clockwise. Personally, this way works out well for me in the East and I will get away nice and promptly.

Personally, I think the Brighton fans should be considered the priority and as the majority of them are in the West... But I think this is a good idea in principle and I wish the police well. This game will be difficult for them.

I presume that there will be a fair few of the met's finest travelling down with the palace fans. Why not do the same as the police do when Southampton play Portsmouth. Erect a metal fence/pen during the second half outside the away fans exit then keep the fans penned in until it's safe for the met police to kettle them down to Falmer station onto a waiting train. Use a helicopter if need be to ensure the way is clear.

If we win I wont be going anywhere but the East stand bar to sing some songs of victory and drink a few beers. If we lose I will be so abjectly miserable and depressed I wont give a toss what direction I will be walking in and whether it takes me an extra 5 or 10 minutes to get where I need to be. I wear a very expensive watch by the way and drive a 30 grand car, I am considerably richer than yow and I think its an utter disgrace that I have nothing to moan about, what is the club doing about it? I demand an explanation.

What is it with some people - nothing else to moan about. They have thoughtfully moved the kick off time 3 HOURS forward so I am quite sure that you will not be late home for your tea.

Why can't CP be kept in for 45 mins, and the Albion fans make their way home whichever way they like at 90 minutes?

No one gets hurt, and no ridiculous circumnavigation of the perimeter for the most of the 11,000 WSers wanting to head east.

Because, as has been mentioned several times, people won't all head home at 90 mins. And if they did, it would take hours to clear. Also, do you really think that "most" of the 11k West Stand patrons head up to the car/bus park? I'd be surprised if at least half weren't getting the train/walking towards town/public buses/going to the North Stand/Dick's.

Because that wont work,we encourage our fans to stay behind to ease congestion at the station and for the park and ride.If you are that bothered use the side road down near the place they put the away team coach,Oh and put the coach windows in on your way, send the scum back to croydump with no points or windows.

I would demand a full refund on your ST and a full course of therapy by a specialist councillor at the very least for your troubles. Alternatively, I'd get over it!!
