I went to Oldham after going to Gold cup day last year, the queues at the bar are so bad that you'll find it hard to get that wasted.

what at Oldham:lol:

They're not that bad, when your doing rounds only have to go once as well! Thinks its more the fact you are drinking from 10am through til the early hours both days!

lets hope iv still go some money left:drink:

Their form is even worse than Charlton, these are the sorts of fixtures we need to put away to get over the finishing line, same go's for the next 6 or 7 ... banker away win

Bad record at Oldham - anyone remember us winning in thr league up there?

I was there for the 6-1 drubbing in 91

You've got to go all the way back to last season for our last away win at Boundary Park...

Remember winning there on the first day of the season under Coppell.

Playing with the season's stats so far, I can only conclude that we are not going to win every away game left. In fact, on form so far, we can expect to lose at least two ... Oldham are the second highest of the away teams we've still got to play.

And if you look at how we've done against teams in the bottom half of the table, we don't beat every one of them either. In fact we are due at least one defeat between now and the end of the season. Oldham are the highest placed bottom half team.

So it's not looking good, for Saturday. But all of this analysis doesn't detract from the likelihood that we'll finish the season with a a points total in the mid-90s.

Therefore mid table mediocrity for them and nothing to play for.

Four wins out of four in March, three clean sheets.

Oldham, Notts County, Swindon and D&R to come in the next couple of weeks.

I'd be disappointed if we dropped four points in those four games. A point at Oldham given their current form would be regarded as two dropped even though it is away from home. We should win - anything less would be an upset.

As Severnside says - could be a very interesting table by the end of March.

ER, yes - last time we played there!

I was there for the 6-1 hiding. It was SO cold. Our consolation was a 30 yard free kick from Wilkins in the top corner.

Hazell is now on 10 (following last Saturday's game) but Furman appears to be on 11 so may have already been suspended.
