Interesting that a fighter was over the UK at that time. I had thought that overwhelmed by the RAF/USAF, the Nazis were fighting a defensive air war over the continent, as well as the V weopons.
It was a fighter-bomber, part of a renewed "blitzkreig" attack as one of Hitler's "last throw of the dice".
