Iain Dowie confessed that his ####### ###### side were outclassed by Arsenal in a 5-1 defeat, but insists the loss will not affect morale.
Dowie was pleased with some aspects of his side's performance - pointing to several good chances and a decent start.
"They were too much to handle," admitted Dowie.
"We are disappointed with the defending on the first and third goals and you can't afford to do that against Arsenal because they are good enough to take you task for it.
"But we created a lot of chances throughout the game and for 35 minutes we had good desire.
"Arsenal were too good for us at the end of the day, but only three or four clubs can do that to you - probably just three.
"There is no damage to the morale. They beat Inter Milan 5-1 at the San Siro - so we are in good company.
"We're disappointed with our defending but we will focus on our game to Birmingham now - that's a big game for us."

The 9.0 defeat does not hurt as we were not relegated and became stronger for that defeat. Thanks Liverpool. Where as Brighton suffered for the Season and went down and are still scrapping the barrell with a makeshift team.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

What's a bit galling is that that AJ penalty was ######'s 9th of the season.

Nobody else in the Premiership has had that many penalties, let alone the other relegation candidates.

Have you bought Mike Riley for the season??
