I think thats the problem. I spent my first two decades living in Coldean. To get to Lewes I headed down Coldean Lane to the Lewes Rd and turned what I took to be North.

This was obviously a bit 'simplistic'

One question I have... When they put up the first part in December they then took it down to make adjustments. Does this mean the same will be happening to the next two parts or have they magically already figured out the required adjustments and therefore only having to put these up the once?

I would Imagine that the two ends are identical, except left hand and right hand, so any amendments would have been done to both at the same time.
