Lord - Non runners are non bets. Anyone who has napped at Newcastle can still nap before 12pm on another horse.

Ah..just found out Newcastle is off.

Gareth, I think that's a bit unfair. Some people might have made their choice and settled down to some work, gone to a meeting etc. I can nap again, but I don't think people should be penalised for having a job. Lord B is right: no meeting, bet null and void. And it doesn't count to the non-bets list.

I think you misunderstand me. If the horse does not run , it is a void bet and they will show a level, not a £ 10 loss. I suggested that you could re nap to still have an interest but you are suggesting if your horse does not run due to a withdrawal or the meeting being abandoned they cannot have the opportunity prior to 12pm to selecting another horse.

Thats fine but I thought my suggestion was worth considering.

People are making this much more complicated than it need be imho !.

I think Gwylan was saying it would be harsh to count someone with a 'missed bet' (one of their 20) if their horse is a non-runner or a meeting is abadoned.

Fair play. An abandoned meeting or withdrawn horse is not a non betting day. People can re submit a horse of they wish before 12pm.

Gordon Bennett we must have gone through every eventuality of a Ducks arse haven't we !.
