It might come as a shock to you but mods don't read every single thread on the board.

If someone is compelled enough to report a thread to a moderator, then action may or may not be taken. I removed the DtG thread as someone complained, and I decided the thread was adding no value to the board.

i disagree i thought it was justified in light of what had been said about gaffer in the last few days ,what goes around comes around and we have not heard a peep out of him since shock shock!

I didn't say it wasn't justified, I said it didn't add any value to the board.

Most people made their thoughts known on the thread in question - without needing to create a new thread on the same subject making the same points.

I don't think the emails are working, so the usual "report to moderator" doesn't actually do much.

It's best to PM Bozza, or any other mod online at the time.

Why would anyone with access to the internet need to do that?
