We certainly can. I can arrange for a chat with John Gammon if you want? Im a friend of the trainer Ken Tester and we can chat to him as well but to be honest i wouldnt want to put the dog with him.

Sounds like a plan to me, i won't ask why you wouldn't want to put one with Ken Tester!

So, I make that £1250, if my maths is right, and I've counted everybody properly. (If I've made a mistake, please feel free to correct it!)

If you look at the stats for Ken Tester, you'll know that most of his dogs go lame much more often than other trainers...it's a bit of a standing joke at the track amongst the regulars when he gets a decent dog given to him to train, it's only a matter of time before it will get an injury.

John Gammon is ok as a trainer, but doesn't get the overall strike-rate or consistance of winners compared to some of the others.

Someone like Derek Knight or Brian Clemenson are both excellent trainers and have had many very good dogs over the years and have done really well with them, including Derby Finalists.
