I just drove past the gorund and it looked as though the cover was on. Or at least, there were lots of puddles that were reflecting the light. It was quite dark though.

It might be that they don't put the cover on for snow.

I put this on another thread earlier:

Brighton weather forecast - Met Office

Currently (and the met office seems to change every 8 hours or so) no snow forecast til sunday. Lots of rain tomorrow, drying up in the evening, dry all friday. Temperatures above 0° most of the time (goes into the minus thursday night, but back up friday).

It's now showing snow through thursday evening into friday. Like I said. The met office changes it's forecasts every few hours.

And now showing a brief period of snow/rain (sleet) this evening, then dry til sunday night.
