A good idea. It would need a vote though. Also, some seats were sold with licenses so this might be an issue.
Not allowed, I've asked the club before.
Would be in breach of the clubs license and also Football League rules.
Whatever you do will upset someone we need to do what right for the team but it's how you manage change! We got a fight on our hands to stay in the championship but it makes the second half of the season exciting.lets get behind the team they will have good support at the next few away games in London.
Yeah, licenses could make this a non starter. Especially if a license holder started going down the legal route. Unless sufficient compensation was offered.
Also 'the singers' would have to get in early to try and organise themselves otherwise it would be similar to now, spread out all over the shop.
Aren't those that sing still getting tanked up in the bars right up until the teams come out?
Oh yes, the laughable spin from Dick Knight that 'lifetime' meant 'lifetime of the scheme' ( ie not really lifetime as it was sold ).Couldn't they get around it in a similar fashion to what they did with the AMS (Away Members Scheme) , we paid £10 for life membership only for the club to introduce a new scheme (life membership in this case applied to the scheme and not the individual) where you would be transferred across but if you didn't arrange it within the set deadline had to cough up another £10 to join that scheme. Fans who have paid for their license can either have the option of being physically given the seat to take home with them (by prior arrangement) or the seat is moved elsewhere in the stand but still keeps the reference ID number.
