This. Maynards style of play at six feet is still in the mould of a target man if that's how you play him. You don't have to be a giant to be a target man, just not a dwarf!

He will not be signing for Brighton. If he signs for anyone it will be Leicester, West Ham or us (if we're still in for him). I think Bristol will sell today as come Jan he will be worth a pittence. The £30k+ wages would probably be a stumbling block though.

I did hear from a work colleague who is connected to Brizzle City, they're expecting a bid from Newcastle United for Maynard.

Naylor says in the Argus today that we will not be spending much on xfers so I guess that puts an end to this Maynard nonsense (assuming Naylor is right for once).
