I gather he is in league with Mugabi somewhere on the African continent but may be completely wrong and am prepared to be corrected about this allegation.

In some ways it was a shame he didn't support the Albion because he'd have sorted Archer and Belotti out that's for sure, but then again maybe not.

Having said that we had some cracking Gulls Eye dinners at Courtlands.

Last I heard he was being detained by Mr Mugabi. They fell out over something and he was then arrested on spurious money and porn allegations. The charges looked trumped to say the least....but I dont think the Home Office are bashing down Mugabi's door on his behalf just yet.

We nearly had our wedding reception at Courtlands last year until Mrs Scooter saw him sat in the bar in his pyjama bottoms and slippers. Apparently he'll quite happily sit in the bar during people's wedding receptions just generally making a nuisance of himself(i'm using that in past tense as he's currently in a different time zone). What a load of bull. I've been to a few do's there over the years, even stayed overnight and while you might find him in the bar, it is after all his hotel, I've never once seen him making a nuisance of himself.

Building stopped a few years ago because of disputes over costs/payments with the builders. Surprisingly, they're still alive !!
