Just heard Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne doing a cover of a really old Sabbath song called Changes.

Oh dear, I think it is a big mistake. The original was genuinely good, this I fear is not.

I read the review in this month's Q magazine. It said: "The problem is now that Ozzy has started to sing like he talks, like someone has replaced his teeth with bees"

Otherwise I am mostly listening to Dear Catastrophe Waitress by Belle & Sebastian, Phantom Power by the Super Furries, and The Decline of British Sea Power, by the excellent Brighton-based Cumbrians, British Sea Power.

Its got to be Room On Fire by The Strokes, which contains Song Of The Year contender "Under Control".

Also, Elephant by White Stripes hasn't moved from next to the CD player for a couple of months, and The Darkness of course...

I've gone retro with U2s "The Joshua Tree" and Kate Bush "Hounds Of Love"

I must have listened to that a dozen times over the weekend - absolutely priceless

apart from that the weekend was dominated by the outkast album, masciagni: cavalleria rusticana, lots of michael nyman, vaughn-williams: fantasia on a theme by tomas tallis, perfuse 73 and Grandaddy



apart from when my flat mate was getting ready to go out/ coming in drunk when I had to put up with her bouncing off the walls to Kevin Little 'turn me on'
