And it says he's playing one more game for his team before joining us. What money on him getting injured?

Much-loved by his club by the looks of it and an enthusiastic young player.

Doesn't sound much of a Leon Knight which is a good sign.

Let's give him a warm reception on his debut.

Those message board descriptions make him sound like a black Alex Revell.

Handy!:)

Time to resurrect that players who have done well from non-league thread. We can add Alex to it now. Welcome the new guy, he looks the type of strong, combative player you would pair with Robinson, hope he does well but we'll see.

Just the sort of player we should be after, if you can't afford established players then you must go for potential.

Elder looks a great proposition but it doesn't mean Alex is leaving. He's not going anywhere.... why assume the worst?

Interesting, that if your rearrange the letters in Nathan Elder you get the word Neanderthal.

Just the sort of big striker we need:clap:

Sounds like he could be a good acquisition ... but why is there nothing official from the club yet?

Has the Argus jumped the gun?
He's having a medical so it could be that he fails it?

On one match report I read that he has a long term ankle injury.
Perhaps this explains the low fee / high sell-on deal.

Hope the medical goes OK.

I don't mean to be critical of Revell, because he's worked his nuts off for us, and I like him a lot.

But do we honestly think he's a Championship level player at this stage? He's gradually worked his way up this season, and is deservedly popular, and has started scoring goals.

I just can't quite see him as Championship level just yet though, hence I'd be surprised if Micky Adams is really interested in doing a deal. For the sort of price we'd ask, surely he'd want someone with more than 6 months league experience.

I hope he stays

That post is absolutely spot on. What's more, it also applies to Cox and Lynch.

Agree with Edna. There are players like Kabba and Ifill available.

I guess we can't officially announce the signing of the new bloke till he has played his last game today? Either that, or he's failed the medical!
