I thought it was a prime opportunity to get the kids of the country involved and run a competition to get one of them to design a logo - they could have come up with something far better and had fun doing it! (besides costing far less than £400k)

much too much of a a good idea in line with the ethos of the olympic movement and (supposedly) our bid.

Obviously it's really just a money spinning opportunity for businesses who (probably) sponsor the political parties
