New olympic logo CRAP!!

It occurs to me that if anyone other than the London 2012 Olympics wallahs had created and displayed that logo they'd have been rewarded with an on the spot fine AND an ASBO.

Oh no, a scholarship to a local art college more like to study a foundation in urban spray can cubism.

Actually the pink is very trendy at the moment. The grafitti on my wall is a similiar colour.

I was enthralled when it appeared since I had only a few months ago prepared the canvas with weathershield.

It is simply captivating, addressing both the boredom of local youth and my pain in knowing I must visit B&Q for another pot of paint.

I thought it was a prime opportunity to get the kids of the country involved and run a competition to get one of them to design a logo - they could have come up with something far better and had fun doing it! (besides costing far less than £400k)

Totally agree, the kids would have loved that. £400K, that really is quite obscene.

there were some very funny things in the Metro this morning, the best being K9 looking at two Ducks!!!

Also the BBC Breakfast did a design competition which one was really brilliant...

it was the olympic Logo ( rings ) and underneath LONDON 2012 but with L2012ON

he had drawn it so it looked like ON

the logo for the bid came from a public competition, prize was £10K

surely something similar should have been done, but the money's starting to roll in now so it's fill your boots time for the organising comitee and their mates
