As a Tranmere fan I have a bit of an interest in this with Ince likely to bring Ray Mathias along with him.

When Ince was manager at M'csfield and MK Dons it was Mathias who was credited by the majority of the fans as doing most of the work

Mathias is a great man and is a very good coach, led Wigan to play offs, Tranmere to 80 points in league one with no money ( and was unfairly sacked season after) and is excellent at developing youth players at the club

Ince will be a good appointment for you but imo only if he brings Mathias with him

Sure, but any manager that we sign who does well is likely to be snapped up anyway, if he can move us forward in the meantime, I'd say why not!
