Dunno about anybody else, but I just find it INORDINATELY amusing that a guy who's spent a fair number of years spraying his bad art up the wall all around town - and signing his name to it! - is suddenly under pressure to produce something halfway decent
Is it true there was a competition to get the Muriel job and he won?
Did anyone else enter?

To be fair to him his other stuff isn't too bad. I really don't know why this Bruno mural went so terribly wrong.

Therefore someone entrusted with doing a mural of our iconic leader should have surely never been picked, when they produce standards of work such as this horrendous attempt at street art......

I didn't say it was good, I just said they are not too bad compared to the Bruno mural. I agree that he is not very good at proportions.
Apart from the seagull's eye to beak position below it works quite well:

There was me wondering why it had a carrot in it's beak. A Wotsit makes much more sense

I presume Glimmer Twin got the most votes
The original mural works well 'cos it's simple. This one is a disaster because the artist is trying to produce a fresco and has no empathy with Bruno (or football probably)

Okay so he has made him 40 years younger and added a finger on his three fingered hand. Other than that he has got his shiny bald head perfect.
He still looks like a deranged psychopath with a larger head though.

So the guy is better at art than I will ever be and it’s certainly an improvement, but it’s still not great IMO the arms are tiny and his head looks bloody huge, why is there no badge? It could also be that the other mural was so good that this one looks bad.
