Yeah,sadly Mr Kellett dropped down dead in the street not far from where I was living in Eastbourne about 10 years ago

I left Tideway in '81,Taffy Davis was still the PE teacher back then

Being a fellow meninblack I was interested to see you put Dave Greenfield up first. My cousin told me she went to school with Dave in Mile Oak so I have always assumed him to be a Mile Oaker - however my cousin is a dozy old sod and she may have it completely wrong.

Over the years I have tried to find out a bit about Daves background but I can only find info from his early music days (gigging around Forces camps in Germany etc). Got any good info on his birthplace - school etc ?

PS - Leo Sayer is a mussel like me - he was born in Shoreham at Southlands where his dad was a caretaker living in a cottage in the hospital grounds.
