he has an attitude problem, hense him not starting.

I'm not surprised he has an attitude problem if he gets abuse from his own fans on his nights out!

I think he is crap too, but it is not his fault he has been signed and I am sure he is trying his best; abusing him is not going to make him play any better.

Your wasting a squad number and wages to warm our bench,Now go away!
Isn't that a bit like telling FDM to f*** off 'cos he had an RTA & couldn't play? Maybe you'd like McGhee to f*** off too for not playing Rehman?

Sorry, had a rush of blood to my head then.

It is annoying tho

When he came, we all got these wonderful reprts about him from those who had seen him paly at Rushden and I have to say, for the majority of us, we are finding it difficuklt to see what all the fuss was about..............

Well im not quite sure its like that at all,Because rehman is shit+needs to go.

F.D.M is and was quality (one of the best shot stoppers outside the prem) on his day.

Mcghee should be praised for not playing rehman+i fully agree with his actions, although i do not feel he is even good enough to warm the bench!

No i'll tell you what he needs el,He needs to go back to where he came from,

Am I the only one putting 2 and 2 together? Whether I am getting 4 or 5 remains to be seen. One 2 is BYF - Brighton Youth Firm - the other 2 is Zesh Rehman - the first Asian player to play for the Albion.

I hope I'm way off the mark but wouldn't put money on it.

I don't think Rehman is good enough to make the first XI at present, but he has shown some promise in his first couple of games, if he had not McGhee would not have taken him back. GIve the lad a bit of time to mature.

Although I don't agree with byf's mate giving him grief or the contents of byf's argument, I have not seen any racist undertones to it.

BYF is the new wind up merchant. I just can't decide wether he says these things to wind people up or he actually believes them.

The thing is he isn't just saying it to wind people up!

Hmmm....the same thought crossed my mind too. But who knows, this is a funny old world, maybe tomorrow byf will start a thread entitled "My 10 favourite Jewish players to play for the Albion".

Is it possible we may be judging Zesh more harshly than our other players?

We do have very high expectations of our loan signings. I think Yeates has been superb but there is still criticism of him, lack of scoring, poor dead-ball play, etc.

About Zesh, surely the one thing I don't think you can fault him for is his attitude and commitment. He runs around all over the place, to what effect, well........but when he hacked down that Port Vale guy at the end of the game, you had to say, hmmm, not a lot of skill there, but plenty of desire.

Another thing about Zesh. He's just one of these "awkward-looking" players. He's a big bloke and he just does not move that gracefully. Perhaps for that reason it just looks like he's playing like a donkey. I actually think his touch and passing are better than sometimes he gets credit for, it's just that he looks so damn ugly whenever he's hitting a pass.

I think he's also showed he's fairly OK in the air, if that header had been 4 inches lower against Vale, temporary hero status might not have got him some of the stick he's now getting.

You wonder perhaps long-term that his attributes might suit him better playing in defence than midfield.

Anyway, the case for the defence of Zesh rests, m'lud. I hope you all out there are not a hanging jury, as my client maybe in trouble.

Personally I don't believe you should sign loan players to have them sit on the bench. We can fill the bench with our own squad players.

With Rehman it's not just a question of him not being good enough, he doesn't put the effort in. I believe that's what pisses most people off.

I dont know byf,but he pays his money for his ticket so he is entitled to his opinion, same as he comes on here and does the same.Nothing wrong with that in my eyes, what is the point in having a site like this if everyone agrees with everyone else!!

If you dont like what he says then dont open the threads he starts, simple really isnt it.

My opinion of Rehman is that he flattered to decieve in his first couple of games, and as soon as we have everyone fully fit he will hopefully go back to Fulham.
