Cant think of any I hate but 2 that spring to mind that are IMO nowhere near as good as people think are :

Raiders Of The Lost Ark (worst of the trilogy)
Empire Strikes Back ( worst of the trilogy)

those are my two favourite!

Can't say I like every film I see, but to say you actually HATE it seems bizare. Can a film, no matter how shit, really stir up such hatred?!

And lay of Lost in Translation.. I quite liked it!!

Munich was poor as well. 30 minutes too long and historically inaccurate.

If you are talking about films being historically incorrect how about Pearl Harbour - load of rubbish

Yes, it is possible that certain films can stir up such hatred.

Mine are:

A.I.
King Kong
War Of The Worlds
The Pianist
Requiem For A Dream

The Pianist
The greatest "commercial" (i.e. not Shoah) film about the Holocaust ever made, a masterpiece based on first hand experience which is neither exploitative or inappropriately slushily sentimental, unlike certain Hollywood offerings on the same subject.

I'm going to offer the shawshank redemption. Whilst I don't hate the movie I've never got why everyone loves it so much. It's a fairly decent movie and nothing more IMO.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes, at last the voice of raison, sorry reason. What a f***ing ovvvveeerrrated, formulaic film.

Ooops yes, I agree with you. When I dismissed it above, for some reason I was thinking of The Piano, which was dull dull dull (but with great music).

Crash, not the one the one with James Spader but the pretentious, load of self indulganct wank that won an Oscar just because it was about Racism.
