Anyone on here work as a Mortgage advisor? I am a first time buyer and want to know what Mortgage would be best to go for. Any of you older members rate or hate their current Lenders. I know C&G are bollox as I have had dealings with them. Any help greatly appreciated guys and girls

How the hell do you get £400. I have only ever seen you sell 1 programme and that was to Chez when he was drunk and you took advantage of him

Northern Rock have done me proud, let me borrow pretty much all I could reasonably afford, tied in with them until next Feb then I will be shopping around for a new deal.

I was advised that Nationwide were the provider who could offer the biggest loan amount and they also had pretty competitive rates (1st time buyer with 95% LTV).

However, I didn't need to borrow the max and have taken a gamble using Giraffe's (a trading name of Bristol & West) discounted rate which is currently 4.5% annually (about 4.6% monthly, which would be the figure normally quoted).
