Just got back from M&S holmbush.

Buy lunch - decent sarnies, milk etc

Took me three goes round the car park before I found a space:angry:

Got into M&S and headed off to the mens wear......full of old men trying on italian suits and looking rediculous

Went to gadget bit....good stuff in there - DR Who key rings, golf stuff, radio's , pen knives, electric train sets, mini cars etc etc.

Loads of old people blocking the isle and talking about how in their day all they had was an orange and a hoop...one old biddy haranguing some poor assistant who asked her to queue where inicated as opoosed to blocking the isle.

One bloke kept opening the boxes, taking out said gadgets, and trying them.......then saying what a waste of money and putting them back unboxed....it was very funny.

An hour in the exciting life of dave the Gaffer - M&S Correspondant:down:

I have had to take a day off because I cant carry them over and I am bored at home.

Actually I am very happy today as the BP is 120/80 which is a s good as its been for amny a time and I have finally learned my singing parts this year...weather I get to do them is another matter though.

The LDC fecked me off, but we were expecting it so its hardly a surprise.

I've just got my local M&S and it was full of old feckers moaning and they are the WORST culprites for blocking the isles while they are trying to find the best 'reduced' offer going!

I had to get some thermals for my nipper and some old boy was showing his ancient mother (who was at least 90 odd and had a hearing aid in each ear!) the different styles of underwear!! Then at the top of his voice he shouted at her 'would you prefer the cream or black knicks mother' I mean pleeeeeeeeeeease, too much information at lunch time!

Avoid the place at all costs between now and February!

If I earned your sort of money Dave I would buy a Mercedes SLK, they are the dogs. I could see you in a 2 seater convertible Mercedes SLK with a young dolly bird in the passengers seat :smokin:

I have to wait! Three years time the mortgage finishes and I will be 700 a month better off!! Then its a SLK, or do as Mr Blair wants and put it all away in a pension
