Aga in for Kirtley and probably Thornely in for Nash.

WHY would you do that?

Sussex to make 170 with Matt Prior making a blinding hundred, then in the Middlesex innings making 2 quick stumpings to get rid of their danger men and an incredible catch whilst standing up to Kirtley down the legside to win the game, (which was on the way to the boundary to win it for them). All because hes the best wicket keeper batsman in the county circuit

Nash is completely out of form, Thornley has been getting some decent scores for the seconds.

Kirtley seems to now be incapable of bowling decent, tight agressive spells. It is obvious that the second remodelling of his action took some of his pace away. However in one day cricket his yorkers and slower balls did still get him wickets. However this year, batsmen seem to have got wise to this and taken him apart.

It did not help against Hampshire that Kirtley, Collymore, Smith and RMJ all seemed intent at bowling at about 75mph at the off stump and it was rich pickings for the Hampshire batsmen.

RHB looked a decent bowl against Hamps but they don't seem to want to use him anymore

Nash out of form with his highest score at the oval ???
Bring in Thornely who has been in form in the longer form of the game only for the 2nd 11 :glare:
And then you suggest Aga comes in for Kirtley. Agas expensive even in County championship and Kirtley is one of the best death bowlers in the english county 2020.

I have not really seen the scorecard for the Oval game, but Nash as been struggling in the one day games I have seen him in this season. It is a shame, as he is the most talented of our younger batsmen, just seems to suffer concentration issues.

Have you seen Kirtley in one day cricket this season? Last year I would have agreed with you regarding his death bowling, but this year he has been expensive and batsmen have worked out his 2 stock balls. He no longer has the pace he once did and so is not overly dangerous. Sadly this is a year too many for Kirtley. He is not going to feature in the 4 day team and in one day cricket he no longer looks like getting wickets, just goes for runs.
