Put it this way, I would be very surprised if he had a long term future at the club. Given RMJ has gone and Yasir isnt available, and Anyon is quite average, they didnt have a huge amount of choice.

Got nothing against the lad, I dont know him, and his figures so far are fairly decent, but dont think hes county standard especially if Sussex are looking to play Div 1 next year.

Fair enough - but good to see Sussex give him a chance. Players can sometimes play up to those around them. It may be he has the mental toughness that is required - and he is young enough to improve.
