the little sod must have been frightened off by something we think it might have been a fox (she has seen plenty of them in Wales though) and came back and went on the roof to be safe but as others have said she at least does know her way home now and I don't know about locking her in she won't move out now unless I am with her which might not be such a bad thing.
this is really all my fault for bringing her to a place with a postage stamp for a garden after having the freedom of about an acre of garden in Wales but she like other cats is pragmatic and will eventually get used to it after all I have
