What I gather from this is that infrastructure and communication in Australia is built on Microsoft Office products. That's certainly one way to build society...

Got to work after queuing to pay with CASH in Waitrose, as al the banking systems are down.

Got to work. Laptop demanded FOUR complete reboots - right down to entering the bitlocker. Then Windows ran some kind of update. Finally 'in'.

Outlook and internet up and running, but no access to any of the servers / files, and no skype (which here means no phone calls).

Quiet morning in store. Sky Sports Cricket had best not be affected...
