Holidaymakers, 165 on board, official dead 45, eye witnesses say 20 got off, the rest have perished.

I hate flying, and this is why!

Still the safest way to travel, much more likely to die on the roads!

I'm not convinced it's safer, because although you have more accidents in cars, I'd venture a guess that a much higher percentage of plane crashes are fatal (ie 90%) compared to car accidents (20%? We've all had little bumps and scrapes)

Of course. When there is an accident, plane crashes are more fatal.

It's safer with regards to the the possibilty of an accident, if you're getting into a plane, the chance is less likely than a car.

if a plane crashes, then youre likely to die, f*** knows why they give you life jackets!

And why are we told to move our trays to the upright position on takeoff and landing ? As if THATS going to make any cuffing difference.
