It may be inspiring, but do I want to watch it? No.

I didn't think I did, either, but there you go. And I learnt something from it.

Tried hard to get tickets ...got nothing.... so thought I would go to some non-ticket events,but now hear that the road cycling is going to be very restricted due to environmental impact and sailing will be fenced off...so losing interest fast. Now it looks like the Paralympics or nothing!

Only a pretty small part of the cycling will be fenced off and there will be a free site for the sailing on the beach

We are hosting the greatest spectacle of athleticism. Bloody marvellous. Our capital will be graced by some of the finest athletes to walk the globe.

It is going to be excellent. Plus I have tickets for Beach Volleyball.

...quite bitter at the way LOCOG will no doubt try to hard sell a load of paralympic tix that I couldn't be less interested in.

I think that sums it up perfectly. And then a couple of weeks later people doing all the same things in wheelchairs. Wow!

Wheelchair running and wheelchair Judo? Now this I have got to see.
