The club are surely supposed to be down-sizing the squad in terms of quantity and beefing it up in terms of quality. Giving Doug Loft a contract extension just means they're going to do nothing of the kind.

Which game was you watching. He was possibly the best of a very bad bunch on both sides that couldn't play constructive football due to the weather conditions,

He did have a good 10 minuite spell when Jake scored 2 goals but other than that it was nota performance to shout about by him or anybody else.

BHA beat a very poor Worthing side who showed why they have been relegated. Their No 6 Andy Lutwyche? was limping when the game kicked off.

You appear to have (deliberately) missed my point regarding confidence. Why you chose to justify your different view by mention Worthing's number 6 I don't know.

Your first part said that Loft was outstanding, which to my mind he wasnt and neither were any of the other players on the field. This was the part that I disagreed with. I thought that Worthing were very poor and gave the No 6 as an example of how poor they were especially as he was obviously injured and shouldnt have played.

I made no mention of Loft's confidence because I believe that confidence only comes with ability and I have never seen any signs that he the ability to play in our first team. It would seem that Worthing is the level he should be playing at.
