At least the players know they have 6 weeks in which to convince GP that they are worthy of a first team place and shouldnt be replaced.

This is correct. The players need to prove they are good enough. Lets be honest there is an awful lot of money flying out the door at the moment, so the players need to work for Gus and play their hearts out.
