I managed to buy 2 tickets over the phone the same day as registering them online and getting FAN numbers, without being questioned about there being no previous bookings

I was told by the guy at the desk that the Spurs allocation has sold out and they are now acting on Police advise not to sell to people not on the data base.

That's a bit strange that it takes the police to advise not to sell to Ubber JCL's or out of towners.
