Will make people think about blocking a shot from Riise-he can really hit a ball hard.

I fractured my wrist blocking a shot to the equivalent of a Steven Gerrard. So seeing Smith break his leg, is a little comfort as I thought I was the only one.

Maybe I should stop thinking I am as good as Wayne in goal.

f*** Smith. I don't wish him any specific harm but I'm delighted to hear he'll be missing for the foreseeable future. disagreeable cunt

Reaping what he has sown.

Nice to know the ER curse is still going strong.

I actually like Smith, ever since I heard a story about him coming in off the traing pitch at leeds covered in mud to sign his contract. As money was being discussed he apparently said he didn't care about the money because he played for this and kissed his badge. I feel really sorry for him, I wouldn't wish that kind of injury on anyone.

Presumeably this was before he threw his Leeds United badge in the bin and took the MONEY that was being offered by Man Utd for him to come and kiss their badge?

Still don't wish an injury like that on any player.

Sorry, you're right - it was more a celebration of someone's serious injury.

I really don't get the Leeds fans problem with Smith. Did they really think he would or should carry on playing for them once they went down?

it was more that he went to man yoo after portraying himself as leeds through and through

Still, they were probably the best side that came in for him.
