Vividly - when required to, as when asked to play wide, or to tackle back when defense stretched.

Wasn't always paid to run - when directly playing as a striker, being in the right place, having good first touch, ability to turn a defender, knowing where the goal is (and the keeper isn't) - presumably what Chelsea and England saw, and we did sometimes.

I used to defend him when people called him lazy for not running off the ball. I gave up after a while.
