Really, Maupay had a 1 versus 1 against City and his low confidence saw him fluff the chance. Last season he would have got the shot of, might not have scored but at least he would have had a go

Without Biss, it seems like we’re conceding the central midfield and don’t intend to dominate it or drive through it. This has to 100% intentional. I still believe that Leeds will be much more comfortable with us pushing players up the pitch with a slow transition; we could be bypassing midfield all tougher.

Hopefully you’ve nailed the tactics.

Today seems like a watershed. The mood of the fans and even the press reporting has changed. No more "progressive" (whatever that is supposed to mean), or the usual cliche reporting.
