What a pisstake. Somebody really needs to put Manchester United in their place.
Oh wait, that was last Saturday

Ah, well done, someone else has spotted the whole point of the thread. Is that PAY or PLAY the MU way
If it's not "stating the bleedin' obvious" ... thank you, 8ace.
Thanks for reminding me why I loathe the Manc scum.
What's even more disgusting is the fact it was being advertised in our local paper which has for years supported the Albion.
What bright spark at The Argus decided it what a good idea to accept this?
I know nothing can be done about it now, and I am not trying to ruin any kids dreams of going up to Old Trafford, but we can always email our displeasure to The Argus and Man Utd about it?

Grimsby Town Forum - Play the Man Utd way!
As someone who has worked with AITC in the past, I always try to promote all things Albion.
However, my Worthing based kids team is involved in promoting a Chelsea training course later this year. When I questioned why we were doing this I was told that it was because they are going to help us with training our 'academy' boys. It turns out we started off asking AITC to get involved but they weren't interested. As one of our former coaches is now working with Chelsea's disability team, he spoke to their people who were more than happy to help.
Although this isn't quite the same as this commercial Man Utd thing, it's still disappointing.
My son starts an apprenticeship with AITC on the 15th June so hopefully it will be a very good experience.
I was a volunteer coach for three years at soccer schools and the knowledge I picked up from working with some of the team has been really useful in coaching kids. I'm sure your son will enjoy it (and he'll get free Albion kit!).
Sad isn't it. I posted it on another thread (oddly about hayfever) but Arthur (aged 5) has done two half days of football camp this week at Buckingham Park, part of half term shenanigans. He loved it and what we loved even more is that he won the penalty shoot out against a head to toe Manure 5 year old. Aparently the Man U kid hit the upright and Arthur toe punted it into the bottom right corner. Rather pround Mum indeed.

Was that Pro-Soccer direct ?
Enjoyed the MUFC stadium tour - very interesting
They spent an awful lot of money on a stadium and museum, as well as buying players and trophies. So what?
Great to see the far more cheaply assembled and mainly home grown Barca team give them a footballing lesson.
